Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe is never the same for me and that is what I like about it. I can change it to suite my mood. Sometimes I saute mushrooms with the garlic and onions, or for my husband, I cook a chunk of roast in it to give it a meaty flavor. He can then have the meat on a sub bun for a great lunch :)

Ingredients You'll Need

1/8 cup bottled minced garlic
1 cup frozen chopped onion
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (good quality)
~30 oz. of chopped tomatoes (salt-free of course! You can used petite diced or normal if you want your sauce more chunky than saucy)
15-30 oz. tomato sauce (salt-free of course!)
Oregano, basil, parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning to taste

Directions

Saute garlic and onion in oil until aromatic.

Add tomoatoes and tomato sauce.

Season to taste.
