"Very refreshing... not too tart or sweet."

Why I Love This Recipe

We didn't have much in the fridge and my husband just bought kiwis so we thought it would be fun to add them to a smoothie. WOW, this is so delicious.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup water
1-2 cups pineapple (the yellow the the pineapple is, the sweeter it will taste)
1 small cucumber (I used Persian)
2 small kiwi
1 cup spinach
1/4 cup dried coconut (optional)
1/5 lime (with skin - wash if not organic)
Ice
Optional: I add a scoop of collagen -- you can add if you want. It will make your smoothie a little more "whipped" and is good for your skin

Directions

The key to making a great smoothie in a blender is the order you put ingredients into machine. So add the ingredients into your blender (I use a vitamix, but you can use any blender) in the order they are listed in the ingredients list. Trust me! It will be delicious!

Once all the ingredients are in your blender - blend for 2 full minutes. I know it's loud... but it must be for 2 minutes to give it a whipped texture.

P.s. These tips work for any smoothie - order, time you blend and adding a lime (or lemon).... really upped our smoothie game! You will not be disappointed.
